Ask Wegmans to Follow the Lead and Adopt Cage-Free Policies

From another group: Wegmans Cruelty at

Very easy: just click and sign!

Wegmans operates the largest egg farm in New York
State, with over 700,000 hens housed on a single
facility. Undercover investigators documented
conditions that are common in the egg industry -
intensive confinement, profound neglect, and
mutilations without painkillers. (See
http://urveg.org/campaigns/wegmans/ for details.)

Whole Foods, Wild Oats, and Trader Joe's have adopted
total or partial cage-free eggs policies, and it's
time for Wegmans to live up to its professed
dedication to animal welfare.

Please sign the petition at
http://urveg.org/campaigns/wegmans/petition/ and
share the info with others, including your animal
advocacy groups. An excellent 27-minute documentary
called Wegmans Cruelty can be downloaded or ordered at
http://www.wegmanscruelty.com .

Thanks in advance for your help.
